No one has a right to sit down and feel hopeless. There's too much work to do! -- Dorothy Day

Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006, 6:13 p.m., stressed

It is the weekend before my wedding. In arranging this wedding day, it has been a very trying time. I have been a Sucky Customer. And I have been stressed.

Right now, I am p-o'd at my photography studio because of one thing. One month ago I checked with one of their guys that the photographer wanted a meal, and he replied that the photographer would appreciate a meal. Today, one week out and after having told the restaurant that the photographer gets lunch, one of the other studio guys calls up saying the photographer didn't want lunch and would prefer to wait one hour at the ferry terminal for his ferry ride. wtf?

whatever.

The Head Boss didn't consult with me to set a deadline for receiving applications - so this means that I will likely work overtime this week. I leave work on Friday 4.30pm and no one had better stop me.

I could really do with more frequent optimism from SO. But it appears that he ain't in the same biorhythm with me. This means that I feel I need to maintain my optimism in the face of his "Oh no..." which I interpret as "please don't bother me with this...I can't handle it now". Sure, but when can you handle it? After work? after your computer time? during your cooking dinner? during dinner?

Really, he is very good. We are better at communicating now. I have to learn to be less reluctant to pursue these topics.
