No one has a right to sit down and feel hopeless. There's too much work to do! -- Dorothy Day

I don't like her all that much. She has changed. Maybe it is that she has more self-confidence. I see it as she has shifted her priorities. She's gonna get rich by the end of the year through property investment. Then she's gonna retire and live the good life. I see that she is getting rich through amoral property investment - using loopholes in the law, buying houses she isn't going to make into a home. Those are the type of people I don't like. Do I think I'm a better person than her? It's tempting to believe so; I believe that a house should be bought with the intention of making it a home - the property market is tight enough without investors into the mix. I believe a person should make their fortune by producing something that someone else wants - I suppose her investment could be seen as she is providing a house that someone else can live in. I don't like her principles but I do wish her well. I hope she rediscovers the creative side of her. Maybe in 3 years time the personality that I admire will be back. She is not the agonised person that she'd been for the past 6 years. She has more focus (on having money, to retire). Do I have to like her? probably not. In fact, I don't have to like her. There. It is settled. I don't like her.
